Founding Donor

Brian Page was a member of the foundation's board of directors from its inception in 2004 until 2017 and was the inaugural chair on the interim steering committee for the community foundation project.

Brian was also the Foundation's founding donor and established scholarships for students at Mount Gambier High School, Grant High School, Kingston Community School, Millicent High School and Keith Area School and a major ongoing sponsor of the foundation's operations.

Brian was a member of the Limestone Coast Area Consultative Committee since its inception in 1995 and held a Bachelor of Engineering (chemical) from Adelaide University and served as a member of the Australian Institute of Wood Science and won a national award for Technical Literature in 1987.

His extensive experience extended beyond business and industry to strong community involvement, especially in regards to social, cultural and environmental issues.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal people as the First Nations of these lands and waters of the Limestone Coast. We acknowledge the Elders, past, present and future, and we respect the ongoing deep feelings of attachment and relationships of First Nations people to country.
