Every child deserves to start school feeling confident, included and ready to learn — but for many families in the Limestone Coast, the cost of uniforms, shoes and supplies can be a real barrier. That’s why Stand Like Stone’s Back to School program provides vouchers to help kids access the essentials they need to thrive, thanks to generous support from our local community.

For 20 years, Stand Like Stone partnered with FRRR to deliver the Back to School program across the Limestone Coast — helping thousands of children start school with the essentials they need to thrive. Now proudly run as a locally funded initiative, the program continues to support vulnerable families by providing $50 vouchers for uniforms, shoes, stationery and school bags. In 2026, a total of 530 vouchers were distributed thanks to generous community donations. We’re now calling on local individuals, businesses and philanthropic partners to help us raise $30,000 to support 600 students in 2027. Every donation helps a child feel confident, included and ready to learn.
