Tracey Grosser

Tracey is a dedicated community advocate who is passionate about her community and its people. Raised in the Mid North of SA before relocating to Melbourne, she then returned to the country following her marriage to a local Bordertown farmer, Nathan, 25 years ago.
Tracey has worked across various health fields, studying and working as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years. An interest in wellbeing led to roles as a swimming teacher, aquatics coordinator and personal trainer.
Coordinating a come and try swim session for new arrivals at the Bordertown Swimming Pool in 2014 sparked an interest in welcoming and inclusion and a change of direction in careers. This has included roles as a Community Services Coordinator with the Australian Migrant Resource Centre in Bordertown and her current role as Community Development Officer - Migration at the Tatiara District Council. Tracey is an active community member on various local committees and community groups. Her work and volunteer roles have created a passion for community connections, wellbeing and capacity building.
Tracey loves sport, values health, and cherishes family times with her two children Zali and Jacob and husband Nathan.
