Established through the vision and leadership of the late Mig Brookman, the Keith & District Hospital Future Fund supports charitable initiatives that strengthen and sustain the hospital’s role in the community.‍

The Keith & District Hospital Future Fund was initiated by Mrs Mig Brookman—an inspiring and respected figure in the Keith community—who believed deeply in the importance of securing the hospital’s future. Mig researched and led discussions with the Stand Like Stone Foundation, ultimately recommending the creation of a sub fund to support charitable projects that benefit and future-proof the hospital.

In response to her vision, the Keith & District Hospital Board formally established the fund as a sub fund of the Stand Like Stone Foundation. Donations have since been made in Mig’s memory, reflecting the community’s admiration and gratitude for her leadership.

The fund supports charitable initiatives that enhance the hospital’s services, infrastructure and long-term sustainability. It ensures that the Keith & District Hospital can continue to serve its community with care, resilience and innovation.

Stand Like Stone is honoured to steward this fund and proud to help carry forward Mig Brookman’s legacy of action, generosity and community spirit.
