Established by the Crozier family to honour their daughter Poppy and support rural students pursuing agricultural studies.

The Poppy Crozier Memorial Sub Fund was created in 2023 by Sherwood’s Asha and Charlie Crozier, following the tragic loss of their daughter Poppy in a road accident on the Dukes Highway. In the wake of immense grief, the Croziers were surrounded by an outpouring of support from their tight-knit Limestone Coast community—prompting them to channel that collective care into something lasting.

Poppy was a vibrant, loyal and determined young woman who loved her farm, her animals, and her people. She had begun studying agricultural science and was building a life that reflected her deep connection to rural life. The scholarship created in her name honours that path and helps others walk it.

The Poppy Crozier Memorial Scholarship supports a Limestone Coast student, with a preference to the Tatiara district, undertaking tertiary agricultural studies, with applications opening each October for study in the following year.

Stand Like Stone is proud to steward this sub fund as part of our commitment to community-led impact, rural resilience and honouring Poppy's legacy.
